Once the Sale Order is posted Thursday evening, you will be able to click on this link and start the bidding. During the Sale of Champions Friday (starts at 2:00pm), you will be able to click on the link and watch and bid live.
- Will I need a buyer number to bid online?
You will not need a buyer number issued but you will need to register as a buyer thru the Online Auction Site.
- Will I need to register with the Online Auction Site if I already have a buyer number issued by the Smith County Youth Expo.
Yes. You will need to register as a buyer thru the Online Auction Site but can give them your SCYE Buyer Number when you register so that we can invoice all of your purchases together if you would like us to do so.
- How will I pay for my bid?
After the conclusion of the sale, a SCYE representative will contact you for payment. You may pay via Credit Card or Paypal. All payment is due at the conclusion of the Sale unless arrangements have been made to be invoiced for your purchases. All invoices will be mailed following the Sale and will be due no later than March 5th, so that we can get the exhibitors paid.
- How will I receive the item if I am the winning bidder?
NO LIVESTOCK PROJECTS WILL CHANGE OWNERSHIP THROUGH THE AUCTION. This is a ribbon sale, meaning the buyers are rewarding the exhibitors for their hard work. Any money received by the exhibitors is strictly a donation for their hard work and dedication.
Ag Mechanics projects will change ownership and be sold to the highest bidder. When the SCYE representative calls you to obtain payment, we will also make arrangements for you to pick up your Ag Mechanics project.
- If I am not the winning bidder, but still want to contribute, can I do so?
Yes! You can do an "Add-On" to any project. You may do this online or by printing the Add-On Form and emailing to us before the Add On deadline (the Monday following the Sale of Champions).
